About me
My name is Andrew Potts, I am 31, and I
manage an engineering
company that manufactures flanges in Merseyside. I come from
a family
of engineers. I am not a Porsche fanatic, more someone who
wants an exciting, well designed and well made car that
can be
used on an every day basis (and Porsches often satisfy these
conditions). I've never made the sensible move and had a
combination like a Lotus Elise and a Ford Mondeo. Instead I want
to be greedy (!) and have a fast everyday car. For real speed
thrills I rely on my Honda VTR1000
(hear it start using Real Audio). For a
storming, challenging drive (with 5 seats and huge luggage
capacity) I have Louie, a 1986 Citroen
2CV6 Special. The whole car cost less than the carbon fibre
gearstick option on the Boxster!
I really enjoy machinery that works well, to the point that if it only half works, I'd rather it wasn't fitted. I believe that elegant simple solutions are much more pleasurable than complex inefficient ones.
If you look closely at this horrendous this photo, you'll see I'm sporting the latest promotional gear from Scottsdale Jaguar's latest Porsche racing venture... A very helpful dealer that has helped me considerably!
