Special Page for AOL Users (or those with old browsers)
All Boxster links at bottom of page
You have probably reached this page because your version of America Online does not
support JavaScript. In order to experience my web site properly you need to upgrade. The
best source of information and help is AOL, but here are some tips to help you get
started.
If your computer is running Windows 95, you may have an old version of AOL.
From the AOL help menu, choose the about AOL selection. If it says AOL 3.0 for
Windows, you are running the Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11 (16 bit) version of AOL and you
can upgrade to the Windows 95 (32 bit) version of AOL 3.0 by selecting the GO TO menu,
KEYWORD 'GET95'. This will download the most current version of AOL for Windows 95.
Follow the installation instructions and when you finish please reconnect to AOL and return to my site.
Note that the download time is free but it takes over an hour and will require
48 Meg of free disk space.
If your computer is running Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11, you can download a copy of
Netscape 3.01 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02. You must make sure that you have the
correct winsock.dll installed. For more information about the winsock.dll file, please use
the GOTO menu and select the KEYWORD 'WINSOCK'. By carefully following the instructions
there you should then be able to start AOL and then start Netscape or Internet Explorer
and use them while you are connected to AOL. The winsock message bases are a great source
of information for troubleshooting any problems that may arise.
For Macintosh users, please see the NET.HELP section of the AOL Internet area.
If you can't wait, here's a list of pages on the site, but the marks out of ten won't appear. Also, links on the pages themselves should be avoided.
