I understand that the new model is Gateway 100 (GW15HB1). What users would really like is some kind of text display on the car. Is this text display now available with the new Gateway 100 on the Civic (06+)?

As far as I know, the stereo systems in Honda Civic 06+ are not forwarding CD-Text data through their CD-Changer port, it is because the factory communication protocol doesn't contain it, therefor no text display on the headunit is available.

Does the AV output unit (the one that send video from a video ipod) send mp3 track information as a video signal when playing a normal mp3?
