But spending £200-300 on a treatment only to shrug your shoulder and then resort to DIY cleaning makes no sense, when the results don't equal what you believed you would be getting.
Honestly, save the money, and wash/dry/quick detail it weekly (1.5 hours work tops) and wax/seal it fortnightly/monthly - another hour's work.
The most intensive bit will be the initial clean/clay/wax or seal, especially if you clean the interior and wax/seal the wheels and tire dress.
Once you've done the hardest part, the weekly/fortnightly/monthly routine will be a breeze, and once you get into it, it'll become something you want to do as relaxation.
Of course, it doesn't get you off doing the dishes or the papering/painting - but that's another kind of detailing altogether, for another thread some other time!
