As I said earlier the extra holes in the chassis would result in less structural strength. Any attempt to counter that (by adding supporting bodywork) would only add weight and so I agree with Pottsy.
Brodick also made a good point that Swindon probably wouldn't have the capacity to produce any more model types at present. Guess the idea is dead in the water!
Still fancy an EX-R though!
