Remember that crap Fifth Gear hot hatch review? They went for the 5 door cars the GTI/ST - Like you said a lot of people out there that would like a sporty practical 5 door hatch.
They would have made the sales - but as Pottsy mentioned Honda would have been slated even more for going "soft"..
