im picking up my new type S GT next Saturday (im excited!), had the choice of home delivery but rejected that as i printed off a list from the Wiki of what a new owner should check for and decided it well worth my time to make sure its in tip top condition. Will email dealer in advance of what my inspection will consist of (see wiki for list), and will call a day before collection to make sure all points are addressed before my paying the balance due on the car. If there are any faults found, ie scratches after dealer fit options, then will make sure i get it in writing that it be corrected by dealer.
