On a more serious note - have you read about my experience of a tuning box?
(Particularily the bit where I hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear and the engine cut out for 10 mins...)
That's what robbo was on about
The tuning box I had was overridding the signals to the injectors, and basically got them so confused they just gave up.
Turning the engine right off for 10 mins, and disconnecting the tuning box sorted it out - though having the engine cut out at 60 was a tad disconcerting...
Luckily I was quick with the clutch.
And for note - this was
after a rolling road session - but they don't tend to redline the car when on the rollers!
My full(ish) day on the rolling road, whilst we played with the available settings on the box, cost £95
This covered maybe a dozen or so runs.
The group session on the 7th will be for 2 runs (and laminated print out of results) for £35 (£30 if we get 2 more to join in
