Secondly 500£ is a lot of money, and I get for that much money a lot of accessories which I already ordered

I suspect the meaning of what you read was related to the colour temperature, rather than the physical temperature...xenon lights are further along the blue (cold) end of the spectrum compared to traditional halogen light.
See here for explanation of colour temperature: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature
A similar comparison would be that between domestic lights: compare the colour given off by a flourescent tube with a tungsten bulb.

Yes.. Thinking back you are right on this one, but surely when I did ask the Dealer he should have know this information you just given me. I did say that I was a bit put of them as I was worried while in heavy snowy conditions. He did mentioned the headlightwashers, yes of course they wipe the snow and ****** bits off. But to be honest I wasn't gonna get myself pushed into something I did not have a clue about, so I thought I better leave it. At the end of the day it saved me 500£.
But as many people before me, ordinary headlights can't be that bad, and let me say one thing, after my ****** Ford Fa the lights on the Civic are brilliant, great, fantastic and I should be happy with what I got.
I was curious on the xenon lights, whether it was better getting them or not I think I shall find out soon enough..
