Is it waiting for a pair code prehaps.
I too have a BB 9300 but not
hft, bluetooth on blackberrys is a law to its own, with not a great deal of support. but it should support normal connection to the
HFT.
I have seen the same message as you have for other things ive tried to pair with. In the end i figured it was actually pairing okay but not ending the process. I found going out and letting the BB work out it should be paired seemed to help.
Can you test it with a phone calling the BB and seeing if it picks up.
