It is possible. Just!

Knock a stud out until it hits the hub body behind, there is one place wgere it will very nearly come out, use a die grinder or similar to make a groove in the hub body then the stud will pass. use this location to remove the rest.

On the new studs, grind a flat on one side of the stud head and it will pass the hub body no problem.
