Thanks FWH, makes interesting reading.

angie4m, problems have been a recurring flat battery problem, passenger door handle replaced, struts on rear tailgate failed, scratched dashboard by dealer, clunking from the rear nearside and faults with the satnav screen flickering purple.

Recurring flat battery - who knows wheteher it's fixed or not until the next time, but this is why I'm thinking of changing. I can't live with an unreliable car!
Sat nav - still flickering and has been back 4 times for this now
Clunk from rear - back 3 times for this and last time they found the springs were upside down (why wasn't this found before?) It's still clunking!
