No - it's not your fault - it's Honda's.
I was told last Monday when my car was in for yet another attempt to fix knocking/clonking in the suspension that the (long awaited) software fix needed has
just been released by Honda, and the dealer will inform me as soon as they have it at the dealership. Since they have been pretty good at informing me in the past - I expect to get called in quite soon.
I am puzzled as to why a software fix is needed when it seems only a few of us have this problem.
