It does seem that way, but there also seems to be an underlying message that the Honda Civic is the 'least worse' rather than the 'best' going by some of the more bizarre posts in this thread.
I refuse to accept that one should expect faults when buying a car (I bet it was a car salesman who dreamed that gem up!) and would instead prod people into realising that accepting faulty products will only encourage manufacturers to produce more.
