When I bought the car ,I never thought an honda could be so bad build quality,but yes I do like the car but might wait about 4 years for teething troubles to be sorted out on 9g( honda should not use customers for development purposes!).

I think the other issue is build quality vs reliability. I don't really expect VW levels of refinement in a civic. All I expect is for a Honda to take an absolute pounding for a decade or so without dying.
