This is why I think Honda is going to make a fair number of enemies (me already) by not supplying a spare wheel. In the last eight years, I have had three punctures, two of which wouldn't have been fixed by HondaGunk. If this happens to me with this car, they are going to get so much bad publicity it will really hurt. It is very short term thinking on Honda's part to save a few pounds on the cost of the car.

Renault tried the same sort of thing by not paying the TMC licences on their dearer Satnav systems. It ended up with them supplying replacement CDs, at full retail cost to large numbers of owners over the three years it took them to see the error of their ways. Honda is being equally short sighted with the spare wheel issue.
