If not - only possibility I see is to make large MP3 files with multiple tunes.
It's not the car adding the gaps, it will just read the cd as it is burned. With a mixed cd you can still skip between the individual tracks but if you listen to it from start to finish there are no gaps, so whatever format you burn in unless you specify you want gaps or the software is set to burn with gaps by default then you won't get them.
