I have now done 1,500 miles and treated the car gently for the first 1000 miles. I must of only brought the car up to 6000 rpm around 4 times during this period, and the car has nt used any oil as of yet.
The dipstick is a bit tricky to read on the Type R's. I always used to check the oil from cold, but apparently you now have to check it after a run on this car!
