Just to follow up my case of smashed lamp, had it replaced on warranty.
Didn't even have to put up a fight - i had to take it in for accessory installations and just mentioned the light and said "I didn't even find a hit mark so I'm wondering if it is a defect". They didn't install it right away (did not have the spare part then *surprise*, I had called about this weeks earlier and they said they will order the part) but had it replaced later. Was actually surprised when picking up the car when told that "dunno, I guess it goes to the warranty as the part was ordered as a warranty part".
I could write a tv movie plot about the installation of the accessories that I paid for already in the first place but ... Basically it's off topic on this thread but had to take it in 4 times to get all things sorted out. Sort of mixed feelings about the dealer
