A good few years ago I went to a large organised event with some very large fireworks. When I returned to my car (in the event carpark) there was what I can only describe as looking like large solder splashes, similar to molten metal that had set accross the bonnet. Luckily is was quite soft and peeled off. The pantwork came up again after a good t-cut and wax. Sorta made me think though, lucky it hit the car and not someone looking up at the fireworks.
