bio fuel
it is actually legal now to use up to 2500 litres of veggie oil per year per person in your cars /vans,i have spoken to one of my buyers who makes/sell bio fuel ,at the moment bio fuel sold at the pumps is up 5% bio but the government is wanting bio to be at least 10%,most car manufacturers are working on this as the emmissions are lower with bio, volvo hope to have a bio car that will run on a 50% bio mix very shortly, before the change in the law on useage if you registered it would cost you 26p /litre in duty,i know from a friend who runs his 2.0 dti vectra that it starts better and runs smoother and also returns better mpg on veggie oil,he usually puts 1/4 tank diesel and fills up with veggie oil,the biggest problem people have is that due to veggie oil being cleaner than diesel it really cleans out the pipesand this can cause filters to block initially but after 2-300 miles you would not get any probs,if you have a second car and it is an older derv give it a go
