First of all, a big thanks to both RogS and also Gareth at Holdcroft - thank you both!.

So the guys that have already changed their grille to Type R one were right - yes, it is quite easy and yes, in all probability you will break the bottom clip holders getting the original grille out - not that it matters much!!

I had the day off, and the man delivered the bits from Holdcroft Honda so I put a pot of coffee on the go, printed out RogS's excellent How-to pics, and got the toolbox out....

It probably took longer to get the tools and put them away afterwards than to do the job - the only bit did get me having a fag break to think about it (hey, sorry!) was installing the mesh holder. The secret seems to be to get the centre clipped into the bumper first, and then use some gentle persuasion on each side at a time to get the clips aligned - it worked for me !

I like it, and I'm glad that Gareth came up with a "black H" solution......
