Only if they are factory fitted, if they are aftermarket I don't believe you have to have them (they [Hella], never said anything when I put them on my 5 series, and it went through 3 MOT's with em' on, examiner even said he liked them, as long as they are angled correctly, most cops/examiners don't seem to care). I'm looking at a conversion as soon as more people wreck their civics
. The auto levellers are usually required more than the washers, but they aren't too difficult to fit, they sit on top of the suspension (shocks).
