Not been on the forum for a couple of weeks, too busy not by choice, I can't believe that nobody has mentioned the Type R D story on page 13 of Auto Express from last week. It's looking like it's going to be a 180bhp variant of the new 2.2 IDTEC engine. Sale dates are speculated to be 2009.

Was planning on a 2.0 A4 TDI S LINE for my company car may well hold out now !
