I agree about not trusting the repair for anything other than short term, especially the gunk repair.
It is interesting that every time I have had a puncture repaired at kwik fit, they never want to charge or give a receipt. I have assumed this is because they dont want any come back if the repair fails.
Generally all the punctures I have had have been on tyres approaching the end of their life, presumably because they are thinner and more likely to puncture .
