I have also been looking into this, and it does seem like a good deal. You can take it out any time between 8,000 miles or 8 months of owning the new car, which ever comes first.

It does nt cover addition items like brakes, wiper blades, etc. But I have been told that you can get a set of front pads on the CTR for £90 instead of £120 fitted with this scheme.

So you basically get a discount on any addition parts that are needed too! I will take this out in a few months time when I have the extra money!
