I stupidly managed to get some superglue on the dash underneath the right hand side headlight level adjuster knob.

In a blind panic I pick something, anything nearby to try and mop it up which has now left a large smudge and the headlight knob stuck

I now kinda want to cry.

I've tried an alcohol free nail polish remover which I found in my girlfriend's box of stuff, but it made no difference.

I'm not TOO bothered about the knob being stuck, I would rarely touch the level, however I'd like to try and remove the smudge.

Luckily being where it is, it's mostly out of sight to all bar me, but it's going to bug me severely.

Anyone have any ideas?
