I thought about this mod only just last week and also thought it would generate a nice blue outline to the compartment. Can I ask how you fitted the LED - what trim needs to be removed and did you mount it at the back of the compartment or the top?

I want to wire it up so its on at night with the lights - can anyone tell me if the glovebox light only comes on when its opened? If so I'll have to wire straight to the fusebox, unless there is a lights-on activated live feed to tge glovebox feed.

Also did you need a resister on the LED or can I do without? I ask because my TT voltage can spike to over 14V so I fitted resisters on the LED's I fitted in the footwells.
