Pleasantly surprised!

1) Rear view mirror not squarely fixed to windscreen (doesn't move but it is hanging off on one side of the mount);

SORTED

2) Rear view camera intermittently fails showing only black screen (ignition all the way off & on again usually sorts this);

They pulled all the wiring & reconnected everything so we'll see - can't ask more than that.

3) Aircon blowing cold after longer period of driving (30-45 mins);

Recalibrated aircon/climate control so wait & see - not expecting much here cos I understand from this forum that it's a known issue with no fix as yet. Odd they didn't say so tho...

4) Rattle in tailgate when opening/closing, like a loose screw;

They have ordered a new interior panel - waiting on a call in a week.

5) Condensation in rear light housing;

They say condensation is acceptable - if water actually collects rather than disperses then they will change the units.

6) A slight knock from front on reverse-turn.

Bump stop was loose - been tightened.

They also had identified that:

7) I need another new improved spring for the fuel flap (mine already works fine so I won't be happy if they screw it up!);

They confirmed that the spring I had is indeed the most recent fix.

8 ) ...& some modification on the drivers door handle.

SORTED

They had the car from 8.30am but I finally got the car back at 5.45pm (30 mins wait) - the free coffee helped.

They didn't have time to valet so I have been invited to go in at my leisure to give them half an hour to have a clean... I am just glad they have addressed everything this time so quite happy. Not sure if the improvement this time was because of the Civinfo sticker or the new servicing bloke I dealt with... altho he couldn't get the bill right 1st off. He'd told me on the phone yesterday £175, then tried to charge me a few pence off £190 which he dropped to £176 when I pointed it out.

Also got a litre of oil in a neat case with velcro straps to fix to insdie of spare wheel bay which is a nice touch.

Oh yeah, I put some revs in the Jazz on the way back to the dealer - upgraded my view from "might do for dad" to "might do for wife"... certainly still will not do for me...
