Anyone here interested?

If you're not a member of Detailing World, then you'll not have seen this thread running there:
Detailing World

The gist of it is thus:
"I'm awaiting info on discount levels for 20+ on their bag, and shipping costs - especially since they generally don't do international beyond Canada.
So, assuming I can persuade them to do:
a) a GB discount, and
b) ship directly to me rather than have me use someone in the US as an intermediary
can I get an idea as to how many of you would genuinely be in on this - even if the discount was 0%?
At $35 it's not that bad a price anyway - but as Tesco says, "every little helps".

I'm sure any additional items (probably excluding bottle products) could be catered for too.

Over to you now.....
"

with this recent posting:

"Well, the e-mail arrived and the jury's out on whether UPS are having a giraffe or serious- $2400 for 50 units!
With a 15% discount, we're looking at $76 a piece, and that's not including import duties nor VAT, nor shipping within the UK.

I'm going to phone them now and ask if that's a pallet price or 13 boxes with 4 bags in each.
I suspect a pallet consignment will be much cheaper.
At the price above, I'd imagine £42 is nearer the case, which may just be the death knell for the deal.
Let me see what I can do to make it more attractive for us all.
"

and this latest one:

"Okay, awaiting a reply on pallet pricing to see if we can shift a shed load of $$$.
On the basis of no difference, then the actual price delivered to your door via Special Delivery (or 1st Recorded, saving a massive £1!) will be £53.
This is based on presuming duties will be 10% and declaring the correct amount.
Fiddling this results in a £2 difference max, so it's hardly worth doing.

So, at this drastically different price than anticipated (thanks UPS!!), who's still in?

Let the list begin.......
