I fianlly managed to get the 5yr service plan, at my 5th attempt.

The saving I'll make over the 5 years doesn't appear to be as much as I expected, at £135, but a saving is a saving however you look at it. Perhaps my lowish mileage, 2.2k in 5 months, has affected this.

Apparently the 'very big administration problems' they've been having for 5 weeks, were due to the software/internet connection to the Honda Happiness database. This still doesn't explain the local dealers lack of service in taking 5 weeks to ring me back.
