I'm also having radio problems similar to those described in this thread. Essentially the radio has very poor reception, and much worse than any other car I've driven in the same area (Cambs). My dealer has had the car in for a day, checked the wiring, and confirmed that the radio has the latest firmware. They were unable to fix the problem, and if anything have made the reception marginally worse by their fiddling. They say they'll contact Honda to see what they advise, so I await developments with bated breath.
It seems to me that it can't be an inherent design problem if some cars exhibit the problem and some don't. I wonder if it could be a batch problem (e.g. a specific batch of head units have the fault). Is there anyone living somewhere just north of Cambridge who doesn't have the problem in a similar car to mine (2.2 Sport 57 plate), who would be willing to meet to do a side-by-side comparative test of radio reception?
