About the fuel economy,the ES would give approx 48mpg around town/a bit of open road, and 60 approx on the motorway.So far,the Type S is returning 40-43 mpg and has'nt really shifted from those figures.With less than 1000 miles on the clock,I know there's still plenty of time for improvement.If it should never change on that,I for one will not be too dissapointed, as Honda really have turned out a cracking car with this model

Same here. 40-43 is the average amount, and I'd like to add that this is the amount I got from new, and still do now with 13K on the clock, it hasn't changed for better or worse.
