Just watched the video again of Jeremy Clarkson drive an Audi A8 v8 diesel from London to Edinburgh and back on one tank of fuel. Amazing how he made it despite every thing on the car telling him he ran out of fuel 35 miles ago!! Makes me wonder just how accurate or truthful the MPG display or fuel gauge is on our cars. Don’t fancy finding out the hard way though.

I'm apparently averaging around 44 mpg with a good mix of roads and driving. I'm very happy with that
