They do make a good job, they can repair even when metal is missing. If you take it to a reputable repairer it will be like new when it's done. I thought about getting another alloy for a spare, but it won't even partially fit in the boot well. So you would need to have it just sitting in the boot taking up a lot of room.

I bought a spacesaver. I also emailed Honda to tell them I thought they would be better offering the spacesaver as an option instead of the foam and ask the customer to pay the difference. As the foam is about £40 and the spacesaver cost me £100, so given the option I personally would have preferred to have paid the extra £60 and not bother with the foam.
