First of all : 1.8 Sport Petrol 17" alloys

Filled up with V-Power last night, I was a wee bit nippy on my way home, switched the engine off at 33.5 MPG.

So this morning (10 degrees outside, mild), I switched the car on and sit for 2 minutes waiting for my wife.

In that time with A/C off and the temperature at 21c I managed to drop my MPG from 33.5 down to 32.6

(The car only had about 10 miles tops since I reset last night)

Does everyone get this kind of drop sitting doing nothing in their civic ?

I've never had good MPG from it even when my cautious and clever driving wife was at the helm most of the time, best I've ever had was 36 mpg after a 3 hour drive to the Lake District.
