TC think about it

Honda are clearly stating that people should not hold the button in whilst applying the handbrake i.e they have found out that if you do apply the handbrake holding the button in it can release

So what Honda are saying is that there is no problems if you apply the handbrake without holding in the button - then the handbrake will not release ( Keep in mind this is what Honda are saying)

It would appear that quite a few people do not leave their cars in gear when parking on a hill ( if they had the cars would not have rolled) and so
they are reminding owners to do this

I was not insulting anyone - I was mearly pointing out the fact that Honda
WILL ask for proof that the Handbrake was applied without the button being depressed and if the car was on a hill that it was left in gear
if not Honda will defend themselves till they are blue in the face

I would hope Mike had taken my comments as they were meant to be taken ( i,e as advice) and not any other way

Yes Honda could have admitted they were looking into the issue but for reasons only known to themselves ( I would guess they wanted to have an answer before they made any comment) they didn't
