Thats a point CZ.
I have not had a problem yet and have always used the button, but have left my cars in gear for years. (was how I was taught )
So, for those of us who have not had an issue with it by Spring 08, why should we have the fuss of the dealers removing the centre console and whatever, resulting in the bangs, scratches, chips, forgotten re connections of wiring etc. ??
