Thanks for the link. It is reassuring that someone else has tried the small pioneer and rates it highly.

I have had a good read thru SJs thread; it’s a very professional install. I just hope the sub only install doesn't involve dismantling the dash - it looks like the front of the car has exploded!

I am still looking for help with my questions, for those that have done this sort of thing before.
