if you keep your foot off the clutch when going downhill and you put the car in such a gear that it keeps the obliged speed without you touching the gas pedal, your mpg is even better, its zero then. You should check it with the onboard computer. Pressing the clutch results in 3 L/100 km.

Now something else, has anyone of you ever noticed a strange behaviour regarding the miles left in your fuel tank. Mine is totally off, when i use the mpg the car is giving me, i can never attain the milage the computer is returning. But when flooring one gear (mostly first) i get dramatic fall backs (going down 60 miles or more)
