Stumbled on the Type S accidentally. Went to test drive a Grande Punto Multijet Sporting (good engine, but cheap feeling), a Golf 1.9 TDi Match and 2.0 TDi (automotive catatonia).

Always told myself the Civic was awful; would date badly; ridiculous looking but I then though Ive never been in one. So I left VW and popped to Honda. Test drove a 2.2 SE and was amazed by it. Wanted one.

Sat in showroom Type S and fell in love; I wanted one! two months, 2300 miles later and I still rate it!
