Yes, my previous Honda was a 2001 Civic Coupe automatic.
I'm not divulging my age, but I have received my 'Winter Fuel Allowance'. I've bought a case of whisky, it's the best winter fuel I know!
That aside, being an extremely loyal, long standing Honda aficionado, I find Honda UK's quality control below that expected of it, I am sorry to say. I feel that Japanese built Hondas and even the Coupes, built in the US, are better built, with apparently fewer quality control issues.

Why cannot Honda UK improve their quality control? I know many new Civic owners claim they have had no problems whatsoever, but there are many, many who have, experiencing niggling issues that should have been sorted before either leaving the factory or prior to delivery, myself included.

I do not think it is a defence to say Honda is no different to any other motor car manufacturer. They are - they are Honda and that used to make a difference. It is no use referring me to the customer satisfaction reviews either. Everywhere you turn, standards are being lowered.

I think the Civic is a great car, but Honda UK are shooting themselves in the foot by turning out cars in the condition they do. It is time to get a grip Honda UK!

For the record, personally, I have no issue with the ride, road noise, or dealership.

I chose my signature carefully. I think it speaks volumes.....
