It came on and stayed on which when referred to in the handbook could be a problem but when re-set (i.e turned the engine off and on) it seemed o.k. Drove a little way and no problem.

I could be wrong here, and it's too cold to go outside and check, but I think the
VSA light also comes on when it is turned off, could you have accidently hit the
VSA switch. I do know that it switches itself back on when you re-start the car and the light goes out. Just a thought.
