Sadly enough it seems like we can beat Norway when it comes to the price on a Civic, Norway and Denmark is probably the most (if not THE most) expensive countries to get a set of wheels.

1 € = 7,4607 DKK

Civic 3 door (metallic finish and on the road):

2,0 Type R 358.480 DKK = 47.379 €
2,0 Type R Plus 399.480 DKK = 53.545 €

Civic 5 door (as above):

1,8 Comfort 258.480 DKK = 34.646 €
1,8 Sport 278.480 DKK = 37.326 €
1,8 Sport i-Shift 293.480 DKK = 39.337 €
1,8 Executive 338.480 DKK = 45.368 €
2,2 i-CTDi Sport DPF 363.480 DKK = 48.719 €

And some of the Civic models is not even expensive cars in Denmark, the 1,8 Sport is competitive on price against a car as KIA Ceed 2,0 Sport 265.878 DKK = 35.637 €. The cheapest 5-door 140 HP Golf with less equipment than any Danish Civic is 304.535 DKK = 40.819 € and the 5-door 200 HP Golf GTI is 493.121 DKK = 58.858 €.
