Like most things, it depends how you drive it! I would expect clutch replacement at 100k, wheel bearings and cv joints to start giving bother from about 60k onwards, Brake pads and disks are consummables and dependant entirely on how you drive it. Over the last 10 years at 30k miles per year and 3 company cars, I've never had a major mechanical repair, ie turbo, gearbox, steering rack, fuel pump etc.
I expect to keep my Civic for at least the length of the warranty, by which time i will have only 90k miles. If all goes to plan I'll keep it 5years and 150k miles.
