Blame it on my advanced years and inability to multi-task richierich, but I didn't broach the subject with them - it
is only a very small patch of paint worn away at the moment - and I considered the windscreen to be ever-so-slightly more important at the time!
I don't know if current designs do it, but I have had a windscreen fall in my lap a few years back!!
