You could have made a worst choice
... The Alfa GT was my other choice, but my wife prefer the Civic and the price was lower. Alfa quality (construction and reliability) has made huge progress during the last decade. You could always find a lemon like with any other manufacturer.
In my case Honda win the game and I dont regret it. But I still look at the Alfa GT when I cross one on the road
