I have had a can in the garage for years, bought for an old triumph restoration where everything is prone to rusting ! It is great for coating rust prone bits and pieces in the engine bay etc.
I would go along with that. I have a can tucked away in the garage. Good stuff and it leaves an almost invisible film on the metal/chrome surface.
