Oh there is a huge difference. Mine is still new and yesterday i tried some stuff that that i read here.
Driving below 2000 rpm and after a cold start and outside temp. -8 i have got readings of 52 mpg after 10 miles trip.
But i bought diesel because of it's torque 340 Nm and you can not compare it with petrol.
Better consumption, speed, smoother engine, acceleration....
And comparing with my old 1,5 ils Civic this is uffffa much better and i am happy even with 43mpg wich is btw much less then before and i can do even better.
