Honda has released a new version of the Civic for the start of 2008, which goes on sale from 2nd January. It is titled the SE+ and gets a range of exterior enhancements and equipment on top of the standard SE trim including 6-inch alloys, body-coloured skirts and spoiler. Honda says it has been designed with its younger customers in mind. Tom Gardner, head of Honda Marketing (UK) says, "The market has responded well to the new Civic, and the 5-door is drawing a younger audience than ever before, but customers wanted a higher spec, entry level model that looked even more sporting". The Civic SE+ is powered by Honda's 1.4-litre i-DSI engine, and prices start from £14,900.
